Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

7th May 2015

Today our Team Leader received the following kind email of thanks from Tom Singleton, Chairman of Merseyside Lowland Search and Rescue Team, following our joint exercise of Wednesday evening, 6th May 2015, within the Terraced Gardens at Rivington.

“Dear Garry,

Many thanks, on behalf  of MerSAR for an excellent evening’s training organized by yourself and your very experienced colleagues at Bolton MRT.

Your team’s hospitality was fantastic and our MerSAR members benefitted greatly from the training experience.

It was also great to meet our friends and ALSAR mentors from Cheshire SART, and has effectively been our first experience of working alongside two very well established and experienced teams in the training environment on a relatively large scale, covering a number of elements.

A very useful experience for our members who attended, and one which they very much enjoyed. The evening has given us plenty of inspiration towards achieving our goals.

We look forward to welcoming yourselves and our friends at Cheshire SART to Merseyside for a reciprocal training exercise in due course.

We will have to have a good scout about to find what you may consider to be a hill!

Best wishes, Tom

Tom Singleton. Chairman, MerSAR.”
