Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

11th May 2015

At 20.39hrs on Sunday evening, 10th May 2015, our colleagues at Bowland Pennine MRT requested the possible assistance of our DVSD Handler Dave Marsh and his DVSD Search Dog Sasha in a search operation involving Lancashire Constabulary assets and a Police helicopter from NPAS, regarding a missing person.

Our DVSD handler Dave Marsh went on to liaise with Lancashire Constabulary, and remained on standby to assist throughout the early hours of today, should his and Sasha’s unique search capabilities be required.

Sadly in an operation involving amongst other assets, the HMCG, a mans body was recovered early this morning, and Dave’s assistance was obviously no longer required.

This is recorded here for the interest and information of our readers and does not feature in our incident listings.
