It was only yesterday that we reported a fantastic donation of £193.50p from our very kind friends at Darwen Dashers Running Club – please see website report dated the same, and now today we can report on yet another donation from our wonderful supporters at Darwen Dashers.
This morning our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received a letter from George Thompson of Darwen Dashers Running Club, regarding our provision of standby rescue cover at this years Aggies Staircase Fell Race on Thursday evening 18th June 2015 – see website report dated the same;
“Dear Garry,
On behalf of Darwen Dashers I would like to thank you and your team for their strong support at Aggies Staircase race again this year.
The race was well attended with 116 runners, and all went smoothly with all runners completing the race safely.
Please find enclosed a £70.00 donation from the Dashers towards your costs.
