This evening at the start of our monthly Support Group meeting night, we welcomed a visit by our highly valued supportive friends of the Rotary Club of Bolton Lever, to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ.
Richard Cooper, President, and Rebecca Harrison, Past President, both from Bolton Lever Rotary Club attended tonight to present us with a wonderful cheque donation, arising out of the Rotarians work in providing assistance to the Ironman UK 2014 (Bolton) Event, and linked to competitors raising sponsorship for Rotary supported causes and charities, and in turn the Rotary Club of Bolton Lever nominating (successfully) Bolton MRT to be one of the charity beneficiaries of such monies raised.
Richard handed over a truly fantastic donation of £610.00 to the team, which was accepted by Support Group member, Sarah Hindle, with Gillian Gregory, Laura Tunnicliffe, and Iain Clarkson present tonight, alongside Trainee Team members Heath Doran and Steve James, and our Equipment Officer – Base and Catering Paul Copley.
