We are very pleased to report today our first donation of 2012, and what a generous donation it is too.

Our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE has received in the post today a letter from Anthony J Dewhurst, Solicitor of Anderton, Chorley, who informed Garry that alongside a colleague, he is the trustee of a Will Trust (Jack Simmons we believe) and “Consider it appropriate to make a donation to the funding of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.”

This very kind, thoughtful and generous donation is for the large sum of £1,200.00 and will be utilised against our major project of 2012, which is the purchase of a Control Vehicle to replace our existing Control Trailer. (The estimated total purchase cost being in the region of £55,000.00)

The entire team membership is very grateful to Mr Anthony Dewhurst and his colleague for so kindly supporting the Bolton MRT in this manner in their roles as Trustees of the Will Trust (Jack Simmons)
