Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received a letter from Mr Ken Arstall, of Standish, Wigan, enclosing a very kind £50.00 donation to the Bolton MRT.

Ken explained within his letter;

“We sold some of my photographs in the Globe Inn, Standish, thanks to the kind permission of the Landlord Gavin Rimmington.

I am in the Ramblers, and have been invited to Bowland Pennine MRT Base / HQ at Dunsop Bridge with Ribble Valley Stepping Out.”

All in the team membership extend our thanks to Ken Arstall for this thoughtful donation, and I’m sure our colleagues at Bowland Pennine MRT will further his interest and support of mountain rescue during his visit to their Smelt Mill / Dunsop Bridge Base / HQ.
