Today our Secretary, Gillian Gregory, received a fantastic cheque donation of £300 from Deane Church Ladies Guild.  In an accompanying letter from their Treasurer,Ms S M Knowles,  she wrote:

“Please find enclosed a cheque for £300 from the Ladies Guild at Deane Church.  This is to help in a small way the excellent work done by the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team. I will pray for the Lord to protect you and your team in all of the difficult situations you have to attend.”

Deane Church Ladies Guild have been supporting Bolton Mountain Rescue Team for several years and their members visited our Base/HQ in September 2014 to learn more about our work and see how their generous donations help us to provide a local voluntary search and rescue service. We are very grateful for their fantastic and long-term support and Ms Knowles’s kind words in her letter.
