Not previously reported, has been the purchase of some new items of team equipment, updating and revising some of the equipment we have previously used.

Firstly, to bring the helicopter winch straps we use on our two existing Bell Mountain Rescue Stretchers in line with the latest HMCG helicopter winching guidelines / recommendations, we have purchased from Lyon Equipment Limited, two full sets of Four Point Stretcher Lifting Bridles – Wire, Code LBS-BRW, at a cost of £64.38p.

We have also purchased from Lyon Equipment Limited, two Bell Mountain Rescue Stretcher Lifting Bridle Bags, Code LBS – BRB, to contain the above items.

At a total cost of £1,220.12p we have also purchased from Lyon Equipment Limited, twelve Petzl I’D Descenders.

All the above items are now in team service.
