Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

20th December 2011

Last weekend saw the final stage of the installation of new ‘Bolton Mountain Rescue Team’ signs for our Ladybidge Hall Base / HQ and Bolton Central Fire Station Garage locations by Team Member Martin Banks and our Base and Catering Officer, Chris Tennant.

The original signs donated by Marshalls PLC in early 2004 were erected when we moved in to our ‘new’ locations of Ladybridge Hall and the Bolton Central Fire Station. Over time these had weathered beyond repair and needed replacing.

Martin Banks, Callout list member and a HR Business Partner with AXA Technology Services, secured the support of AXA Tech’s Design and Reprographics departments who designed and manufactured the new signs for the team. The signs are manufactured to a high standard and incorporate the National Mountain Rescue England and Wales Logo.

We are grateful to Martin, and in particular the AXA Technology Services site based in Lytham, for their support. AXA Technology Services, through Martin, are valued supporters of the team having provided promotional materials and office furniture for the team (See also website ‘news’ items dated Tuesday 24th May 2011, Thursday 23rd December 2010 and Sunday 31st October 2010).
