Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

20th September 2015

Today at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ, our Training Officer Alistair Greenough, who in full time employment is an Accident and Emergency Nurse, gave a small number of team members an overview of drugs in use within mountain rescue, and specifically the Bolton MRT.

The training session concentrated on actual drug administration, including intra muscular injection, and acted as a precursor to the mountain rescue drugs awareness training session scheduled for Wednesday evening, 23rd September, which will be delivered to the full team.

Attending today was our Deputy Leader Chris Greenhalgh, Webmaster Paul Brain, Martin Battersby, Trainee member Heath Doran, Diane Blakeley and for part of the time our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE.
