Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

14th November 2011

Not previously reported on our website was a very kind letter of thanks from the students at Wellfield Business and Enterprise College, Leyland, Preston, received following their day out with the team on Tuesday 26th July 2011.

In their letter dated 15th September 2011, addressed to the team, the students comment;

“All the Summer School Students would like to say a big thank you to the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team for letting us come and spend the day with you as part of our week at summer camp.”

“We all really enjoyed the activities that were thrown at us during the day, such as first aid training, going in the new Land Rovers and learning what all the buttons and controls do and rescuing Mrs Yates (webmaster ; Head of Student Support and Year 7) and helping her asthma attack.” (webmaster ; not to worry, this was only an exercise scenario!)

“All of the group are very grateful for everything that everybody did for us and we learnt a lot from the experience.”
