Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

13th November 2011

During our attendance at this years Remembrance Sunday Service, our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE was approached by valued friend and supporter of the team David Bisset.

David Bisset is a regular supporter of the team since August 2005 when the team attended an incident involving Davids son who had fallen whilst climbing. Davids son went on to make a full recovery.

David passed over a letter to Garry along with a very kind £50 donation and wrote “to all members of the team, thankyou for your kindness in presenting me with a plaque earlier this year. We remain fans of the team, and as ever, are in awe of your commitment. It is always good to see you out on Remberance Sunday, whatever the weather”.

David informed us that his son Iain is currently teaching in Somaliland and hopes to travel on to Cape Town, South Africa.

The whole team would like to thank David for this very kind donation.
