Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

Today saw the second meeting this year of our national body; Mountain Rescue England and Wales, at its usual venue of Lancashire Constabulary Force Headquarters, Hutton, Lancashire.

Attending from our team was Elaine Gilliland, in her capacity as MPSRO Training Officer at the MREW Training Sub Committee meeting, joined by Steve Nelson (representing SARDA Wales) Ged Clarke who attended the MREW Vehicles Sub Committee meeting and Steve James attending the MREW Medical Sub Committee meeting.

Most also attended the mornings main Business Meeting.

Whilst present at the MREW meeting today, Bolton MRT team member Ged Clarke was presented with his completion, successful ‘Pass’ Certificate for the recent MREW All Wheel Drive Vehicles Instructor Course he attended.
