Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

25th November 2015

This evening, by arrangement with our Team Leader, former long serving team member Iain Peel visited the team tonight to say hello to old friends (some like Mike Marsh have got even older! after just celebrating his 50th ) and have a chat to our Training Officer Alistair Greenough about helping on our forth coming MREW Mountain Rescue Casualty Care Course.

Iain a former Postman, whilst in the team, left the team to concentrate on a career with NWAS, where for many years he has been an Emergency Medical Technician, principally working out of Bolton South Ambulance Station.

Iain is in the final months of studying to qualify as a Paramedic with NWAS, and all in the team wish Iain the very best in this endeavour.

Iain is studying towards qualifying as an NWAS Paramedic alongside former Bolton MRT colleague Peter McKale, who is also a current NWAS EMT, and we equally wish Peter all the best in gaining Paramedic status with NWAS.

(a third former team member – Mike O’Brien, is currently in the final training stages with NWAS to qualify as an EMT)
