Long time friend of our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE and his partner Ann, former Bolton MRT Call out list member Lee Budworth, of Adlington, a very keen outdoorsman, walker, mountaineer, fell runner and skier, contacted Garry earlier this year and mentioned that he was the main Northern Sales Agent for a US footwear brand call Bogs – http://www.bogsfootwear.com/

Garry was personally offered a pair of BOGS footwear by Lee to trial and comment upon, specifically their wellington boot type design, following which Lee made the kind offer of supplying ‘cosmetic factory returns / and display models’ of the BOGS footwear range to the Bolton MRT membership, as and when such becomes available to him.

True to his word, on Sunday 22nd November, Lee met with our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, and handed over a number of BOGs footwear products / wellington boot designs, to pass out to those lucky ‘Cinderella’s’ in the team whose foot size matches the boots available.

Lee also informed Garry of the fantastic news, that following the use and trial of BOGS footwear by a very experienced SARDA England Mountain Rescue Air Scenting Search Dog Handler, BOGS footwear products are to be supplied by Lee in a sponsorship deal to some SARDA England Dog Handlers.

The team extends its thanks to Lee for this kind support, and promise of future support for the Bolton MRT by supplying BOGS footwear products as such become available for the use of our members.
