This morning team member Jess Ellsmore, who is in the final stages of training with her dog Blitz, to be a SARDA England Mountain Rescue Search Dog Handler / Search Dog team, went straight from her overnight and early morning involvement with the team in Lancaster / Incident 90, to continue her SARDA training, today at Norber erratics.
Jess journeyed from our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ arriving at the SARDA training venue at 10.15hrs, where she and Blitz met up and joint trained with Kevin Stead and Andy Colau.
Now very tired, after completing the exercise she arrived back home at her Standish address at 16.00hrs for some well earned sleep.
Next weekend Friday 11th to Sunday 13th December, Jess and Blitz were scheduled to take part in the SARDA England training weekend at Patterdale, Cumbria, but flooding events and infrastructure damage have led to a change of venue, and Jess with Blitz will now be training at the Lindley Educational Trust, Hollowford Centre, Castleton, in the Hope Valley of the Peak District.
