Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

6th December 2015

Today experienced hill walkers and team operational members Michael Wakerley (also a climber) and Heath Doran took out two persons interested in joining the teams operational membership, for a local moorland walk, to check out their general hill skills including their moorland navigational abilities.

By all accounts Chris Jones and John Ryan (who is a member of our Support Group and wishes to transfer to the teams operational membership) enjoyed their day out with Heath and Michael, on Rivington Moor and the Simms to Sam Pasture area in the River Yarrow valley south of Anglezarke Moor.

Next weekend Michael and Heath are out with another person interested in joining the team, this time Paul Cragg, an NWAS (Greater Manchester Area) Paramedic.

Chris Jones and Paul Cragg have all been on some team exercises to further gain an insight in to the working of the team, with John Ryan obviously more aware of the team through his valued Support Group membership.

We will shortly be opening recruitment for our operational team membership with a small number of team operational membership vacancies to fill at this current time.
