Valued team friends and supporters, Sharman and Grahame Birtles have sent a Christmas Card with seasonal wishes to all the team membership.
Regular readers will recall that Sharman Birtles JP DL is the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester.
On October 8th this year we reported that Mrs Fiona Montague, the Executor of the Will of the Late Mr Ernest Morgan, who sadly passed away on 15th January 2015, had informed us that we had been bequeathed the sum of £6,400.00 from the estate of Mr Morgan.
We extended our belated condolences at the time to Mrs Fiona Montague, and other family members on the death of Mr Morgan, and we informed her that the team had arranged to have a Plaque of Gratitude placed in our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ to honour the memory of Ernest Morgan, and his act of kindness in support of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
Our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE has recently received a letter from Mrs Fiona Montague, saying she hopes to be able to visit our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ in the New Year and see this plaque, and has also very kindly extended her Best Wishes and a Happy Christmas to all in the team at this festive time.
