Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received from CMA Solicitors of Bolton, the news that we had been bequeathed the very thoughtful sum of £5,000.00 from the estate of the late Mrs Margaret Ann Holmes, who passed away on 22nd November 2014, with a service subsequently taking place at Christ Church, Heaton (which is directly opposite our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ)

It is with sadness that we have received this news, as Mrs Margaret Ann Holmes was a very valued, kind and wonderful supporter of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, over a great many years, since at least March 2003 (which is as far back as we can establish via our immediately available records, within our website archive)

The entire team membership, extends its belated condolences to the family of Mrs Margaret Ann Holmes, with apologies as we have only just become aware of her death over a year ago.

It is the intention of the team, to erect a Plaque dedicated to the memory of Mrs M.A. Holmes in our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ., and to establish contact with her family to invite them to its unveiling.
