Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

19th December 2015

At 07.34hrs this damp morning the team was paged by GMP Force Duty Officer, with reports of a female in distress on open land in the Kearsley, Bolton area.

The call from the FDO was answered by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, at 07.41hrs, co-incidentally just as a Police Patrol reported they had located the female who had been unaware of her location.

The Force Duty Officer therefore stood down the need for the team, confirmed at 07.43hrs.

By the time the team was paged as not being required, at 07.44hrs, a small number of team members declared they were available to crew our vehicles at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ and GMFRS Bolton North Community Fire Station garages.

This request for our services is recorded here for the information and interest of our readers and is not included in our Incident listings.
