This evening we were visited by a large contingent from our friends and supporters at Lostock Athletics Club.
Lostock Athletics Club organise the popular Hendersons End Fell Race, which takes place in June each year. Bolton Mountain Rescue Team provide Standby Rescue Cover for the race, and tonight a number of members from Lostock Athletics Club dropped in to our Ladybridge Hall base with a kind £200.00 donation.
John Smith, Chairman of Lostock Athletics Club very kindly on behalf of his members present, handed over the thoughtful £200.00 donation to our Chairman Craig Lamb.
Craig Lamb inturn thanked all present for their kind support and donation.
The team would like to thank all members of Lostock Athletics Club for their kind donation, and their support over the years.
Following the Clubs visit all of the club members (Despite the heavy rain!)went for a run!
The next Henderson End Fell Race takes place on 7th June 2012, when once agin the team will be present to provide Standby Rescue Cover.
