Not previously reported has been a very kind and thoughtful donation from our dear friend David Bisset of Turton, in memory of his friend and colleague Doctor John Aspbury.

David informed our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE in a letter dated 16th January 2016, accompanying his kind £50.00 donation;

“Dear Garry,

My old friend and colleague Doctor John Aspbury sadly died last weekend.

His wife, Heather, has asked for donations in his memory to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

Please credit this donation to John.”

The whole team membership extends its condolences to Mrs Heather Aspbury on the loss of her husband, and to David on the loss of his friend and colleague.

We extend our grateful thanks to Mrs Aspbury, at this difficult time, for thoughtfully suggesting donations to Bolton MRT in her husbands memory.
