This morning at 08.46hrs the team was paged by Greater Manchester Police regards a missing person enquiry from the previous day.

The call was answered by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, who then subsequently contacted a GMP Missing Person Search Manager at 08.58hrs.

The enquiry was in connection with the possible availability and deployment of our specialist Mountain Rescue Trailing Dog Boris and his Handler Steve Nelson.

With contact then about to be made with Steve Nelson, at 09.05hrs came the news from GMP that a search was no longer required.
