Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

6th September 2011

This evening we played host to a visit to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ by over thirty members from our valued friends and supporters at the Bolton and District Group of The Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Bolton and District Group IAM have supported the team since one of their members, Lyn Entwistle, (Who was present tonight) came to grief breaking her ankle whilst on a walk in ’Tigers Clough’ (River Douglas Valley) in Rivington, on 14th July 2007, and being subsequently rescued by the team.

All were met by our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE who welcomed all to the team, and introduced team members Chris Tennant, Martin Banks and John Dickinson to the group, who then split into smaller groups to be shown around our vehicles and Base / HQ by the three.

All at Bolton and District Group IAM were very interested in the work we do, and asked a host of questions.

At the conclusion of their evening visit, Bolton and District Group IAM presented to the team a marvelous cheque donation of £30.00 and an impromptu cash collection donation of a fantastic £85.00.

All at Bolton MRT wish to pass on sincere thanks to all our friends and supporters at Bolton and District Group of The Institute of Advanced Motorists for their very kind and thoughtful total donation of £115.00.
