This afternoon, four team members in a team Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulance visited The Rivington, formerly Rivington Village Club / Rivington Bowling Club, on Horrobin Lane, Rivington.
Here they met owners Neil and Rachel Taylor, who are great friends and supporters of the team, to present them with a thank you plaque, to show the teams appreciation of their kind support – please see website ‘News’ report dated Monday 7th December 2015.
On Saturday 25th June this year we will be supporting The Rivington 10 Mile 10 Pub Challenge, starting from The Rivington, with Bolton MRT being a charity beneficiary of this event.
Team members present consisted of John Dickinson, Chris Tennant, Kris Kilshaw and Phil Crook.
Our impromptu visit took Neil and Rachel by surprise, particularly as Neil was in the middle of a Winter Bowling Contest at the time of our visit! (sorry Neil for disturbing you)
