Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

7th February 2016

Today we welcomed our latest wonderful supporter, Mrs Jean Roach, to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ.

Jean was collected from her Harwood, Bolton, home by team member Heath Doran and our Equipment Officer – Base and Catering Paul Copley, who arrived at her house in one of our Team Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulances.

On arrival Jean was warmly welcomed by the many team members present, including our Chairman Craig Lamb, Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, Training Officer Alistair Greenough, Treasurer Martin Banks, Chris Tennant, Michael Wakerley, Equipment Officer – Radios and Communications Steve Fletcher, Kris Kilshaw, Equipment Officer – Medical Steve James (and his excellent cake) John Dickinson, Martin Battersby and Phil Crook.

Our Chairman Craig Lamb spent some time with Jean, explaining to her what the team does, how we are funded, and describing the operational incidents we are involved in.

Much better informed about us, Jean then journeyed back to her Harwood home, again in a team Land Rover, after spending what she described as an “enjoyable afternoon in our company.”
