Bob and Mark were very grateful to receive on behalf of the team, the wonderful donation of £ 200.00 from Bury Lions Club Carnival Parade and Gala 2011.
In reply, and offering the sincere thanks of the team, Mark Parry said ;
“I have attended the presentation evenings for two years and there needs to be a special mention of the unswerving commitment and dedication of the Bury Lions Club. To organize an event of this kind takes many hours and I should imagine much frustration. To make this event as successful as it is, and also raise the funds that they do is simply outstanding.
A sincere thanks to Malcolm and all of the Parade committee.P.S. Also thanks need to be expressed to The Mayor of Bury, Yvonne Creswell for the reception and interest in all the groups attending tonight’s presentation ”
The team is very grateful for the support of all at Bury Lions Club, and offers its best wishes for the success of the 2012 Carnival Parade and Gala.
