Readers will recall that we are constantly on the lookout for new collection box locations, given that our existing collection boxes generate a healthy and welcome income for the team.

Experienced Bolton MRT team operational member Steve O’Hara has been doing his bit so to speak, and has sourced a small number of new locations for team Collection Boxes.

Today Steve placed a collection box, with thanks to the proprietors for kindly hosting such, at Al Murad Decorating Centre, Frederick Street, Farnworth.

Steve comments that “within ten seconds of it appearing on the counter, a very nice lady customer made a £5.00 donation!”

Steve wonders is this a record for the most put in to a team collection box immediately it has gone to a new location.
