Today Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue team requested the assistance of our search dog to assist in the search for a missing 75 year old in the Whitworth area.

Steve Nelson along with search dog Boris and navigator Elaine travelled to Whitworth to assist in the search effort.

Rossendale and Pendle were stood down around 00:30 for the night, but received the good news that the missing person was found in the Rochdale area safe and well.
