Today team member Garry Rhodes MBE received a very kind donation to the team of £150.00 from our valued and appreciated friends at Bolton and District Group of the institute of Advanced Motorists.
Accompanying this very kind donation was a letter from Gary Whittle, Secretary, Bolton and District Advanced Motorists;
“Dear Mr Rhodes,
Please find enclosed a cheque for £150.00 for your funds.
This follows previous donations from Bolton and District Advanced Motorists Group for coming to the assistance of our member, Lyn Entwistle, who fell and broke her ankle at Tigers Clough, Rivington on 14th July 2007.
The donation is more than we are usually able to give because this year we celebrated our 45th anniversary and our celebratory dinner culminated with an auction in aid of our nominated charities.
We hope that it will help you to continue being there when you are needed.

The team is very grateful as always, to all our highly valued friends and supporters at Bolton and District Group of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, for their very kind and appreciated continuing wonderful support of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
