Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

At 23:46 late this evening Greater Manchester Police directly contacted our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE regards an urgent request for the teams assistance with regards to a search for a missing from home woman in the Hale Barns area of South Manchester.

As our Team Leader was actually on holiday at the time, the call was passed to our Deputy Team Leader Geoff Seddon, who liaised with GMP and at 23:50 initiated a full team call out by pager.

Within minutes of this pager call out message being sent, and with the first team members already reacting to the search request, Geoff Seddon received information from GMP that the missing woman had been located, and at 23:54 a full team ’Stand Down’ pager message was sent.
