Today at the invitation of Horwich Carnival Committee, seven team members along with Gill Parry (wife of team callout list member Mark Parry) and Megan Leigh (daughter of team callout list member Gill Leigh) in two of our brand new team Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulances, took part in the carnival procession parade, drawing much admiring glances from the attending crowds.

The procession started on Ramsbottom Road, Horwich, onto Lee Lane into the centre of Horwich and then onto Chorley New Road, with the route well lined by members of the public on this very sunny and warm day.

The team wishes to extend its thanks to the Horwich Carnival Committee for inviting us to attend this year’s carnival procession.
