David Howarth of the Rotary Club of Horwich extended an invitation to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team to send a speaker to join them for lunch at their meeting at Horwich RMI Club on 26th May 2016.

Our Treasurer, Martin Banks, was pleased to accept the invitation and after a delicious lunch, addressed the Rotarians with a thirty minute talk about our work.  At the end of the meeting, Martin was delighted to receive a donation of £100.00 from the Rotary Club of Horwich.

We wish to express our thanks to the Rotary Club for their long-standing support of and interest in our work and Martin would like to add his thanks to the Rotarians for their warm welcome and hospitality.
