We have received a generous donation of £100.00 from Blackburn Harriers & Athletic Club. Their member, Richard Taylor, explained in a letter accompanying the cheque that each year the club holds the Witton Park Trail Relays and uses the event as a fundraiser for Mountain Rescue. The event is supported by our colleagues in Rossendale & Pendle MR Team, but due to an increased attendance at the 2016 event, Blackburn Harriers & Athletic Club has also been able to make a donation to Bolton MR Team.  Richard thanks us for our support of athletics clubs, their events and fell running across the West Pennine Moors, and we, in turn, would like to thank Blackburn Harriers & Athletic Club for their generous support of our search and rescue work.
