Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

5th August 2016

In August 2005, Iain Bisset, whilst climbing with his father, David, suffered injuries in an accident in Ousel Nest Quarry, Chapeltown and required the services of the ambulance service and Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

Iain went on to make a full recovery and returned to a high level standard of rock climbing, travelling and working all over the world.

Since the accident, Iain’s father, David, has been supporting our work with regular donations and we are pleased to report, with thanks, a recent donation of £100.  We are always keen to hear news of Iain from his father, and David tells us that Iain is currently leading an expedition in India for World Challenge and on his return will be off to Yemen working for Medecins Sans Frontieres.

Many thanks to Dr Bisset for his continued support and Best Wishes to Iain in all he does.
