At 18:45  the team was contacted by North West Ambulance Service control room to assist with a female who had fallen from her horse and sustained a back injury in the Dunham Massey area.

First team members on scene liaised with the paramedic and our vacuum mattress was used to immobilise the lady who was then transferred to our mountain rescue stretcher for the 500m carry to the ambulance.  From there she was taken to Whythenshawe hospital for further assessment.

In total 26 team members were involved in this incident.
