Today team members Mark Scott and Gary Melia travelled to The Rivington in the village of the same name for a special mission: to meet up with our great supporters Rachel and Neil Taylor.

Rachel and Neil are owners of The Rivington, which consists of Tea Rooms and a bowling green set in a fantastic and picturesque location in the village overlooking Lower Rivington Reservoir.

Rachel and Neil organised a “Summer Solstice Walk” which took place on 25th June 2016 and BMRT were on standby should anything untoward happen that might require our services. Fortunately nothing went wrong and the event was a great success, raising a great deal of money for local charities including a superb £600 for Bolton Mountain Rescue!
