Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

21st October 2016

As reported on 25th September 2016, this year’s annual Haigh, Aspull and Blackrod Ploughing Competition was held at Brinsop Hall Farm, Westhoughton and our team members, Mark Scott and Michael Stevenson, attended to represent Bolton Mountain Rescue Team who had once again been nominated to benefit from the event.

This is the fourth year running that we have been the chosen charity and we are delighted to report that we have now received a fantastic donation of £650 from Charles & Kath Heeley, the owners of Brinsop Hall Farm, who host the annual event.

We are most grateful for this wonderful and continued support and thank Charles, Kath, and all involved with this great event, whilst remembering Charles’s late uncle, Gordon Gregory, who died in 2010 (see Incident 80/2010, 24th September 2010).
