On Saturday, 26th November, 2016, our Support Group and Team members shared the rota from 10:00am to 6:00pm holding a charity collection in the entrance area of Morrisons Store, Atlas Mills, Bolton. There was a short interruption in the afternoon, when one of our collectors had to respond to an emergency call-out of the team, but the Support Group were able to carry on anyway until he could return!
With many thanks for the generosity of the shoppers, who took the time to stop for a chat and to drop their donations into our collecting buckets, we raised the fantastic total of £324.41 to support our work.
We would also like to thank the management of Morrisons and their Community Champion, Nathan Hailwood, for giving us permission to hold the collection in their store.
Our last store collection of 2016 will take place at Tesco Extra, Middlebrook, this Thursday 1st December from 10:00am to 8:00pm, so please stop for a chat with us when you have finished your shopping there. We will also have one of our Mountain Rescue Land Rover Ambulances parked outside the entrance from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with team members on hand to show you around.
