Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

17th January 2017

We have received news from our online giving portal, Charity Checkout, that a kind supporter, Mrs Debra Burrows of Radcliffe, has pledged a monthly donation of £10 (effectively £12.50 with gift aid added) to support our search and rescue work.

On Boxing Day, 26th December 2015, the area where Debra lives was overwhelmed when the River Irwell burst its banks and there was extensive flooding of the area.  Bolton Mountain Rescue Team was very much involved in helping the residents, which was reported at length within these pages at that time.

Many thanks to Debra for this generous and regular support of our work, and we hope you had a much better Christmas 2016.
