Now back at Rivington, our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, was directly tasked at 14.12hrs, by Lancashire Constabulary Officers in the area, to send a Team Vehicle and render assistance to a woman who had been bitten by a dog, in the vicinity of the Great House Barn Information Centre, Lever Park, Rivington.
Lancashire Constabulary Officers were on scene, and had requested the team attend, whilst awaiting the arrival of a NWAS Emergency Ambulance, which had also been called.

Our BM3 vehicle responded with five team members on board, arriving on scene at 14.19hrs, and dressing the woman’s injury.

Very shortly afterwards, an NWAS (Lancashire) Emergency Ambulance arrived on scene, and conveyed the woman to hospital.
