This evening, team members Heath Doran, Martin Banks , Paul Copley and Steve James, along with Louise and Sarah, wives of Paul and Steve, travelled to Ye Jolly Crofters, Horwich, for the farewell party arranged for licencees, Alan and Sharon Jones, who are both retiring.

Alan and Sharon have been very supportive of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, organising fundraising events and raising fantastic amounts for us with the support of their generous customers, and also providing food for the team’s Christmas social events and on some Wednesday evenings after team training.

The four members presented Sharon and Alan with a bunch of flowers and a thank you card on behalf of all the team. The pub was packed, showing the popularity of Alan and Sharon, and we are sure they will be greatly missed by all their customers and our team members. Bolton Mountain Rescue Team wish Alan and Sharon all the best for their retirement.
