From 10:00 to 18:00 today, Bolton Mountain Rescue Team held a charity collection at ASDA, Brackley Street, Farnworth. Our Fundraising Officer was joined by four members of our Support Group, two trainee operational team members and the partner of one of the trainees, operating a duty rota inside the entrance/exit of the store.
We are delighted to announce that thanks to the generosity of ASDA’s customers, a total of £241.49 was donated towards our work. We would like to thank those who dropped their coins (and banknotes!) into our collection buckets and showed an interest in our organisation. Special thanks, also, to the management of ASDA Farnworth and their Community Champion, Carolina Worthington, for their kind hospitality and for allowing our collection to take place in their store.
