We have received a lovely letter from Angela Dyson, the Secretary of Stoneclough Women’s Institute, with an enclosed cheque donation of £64.

Angela explained that Stoneclough WI had nominated Bolton Mountain Rescue Team for their annual Christmas appeal 2016 and the money had been raised through donations of monies rather than sending Christmas cards.  She added that the reason our charity had been chosen was due to the valuable support given during the Boxing Day floods in 2015 which occurred in the area supported by their Women’s Institute, and whilst their organisation at that time was offering support and hot drinks, she felt our support was of a much more practical nature and offered kindest thanks for the work we do.
