This morning, at the kind invitation of George Wrigglesworth of Age UK Salford’s Swinton & Irwell Valley History Group, our President, Bob Hutchinson, and Equipment Officer (Medical), Steve James, travelled to Critchley House, Swinton, to tell the History Group members about the history of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and the voluntary search and rescue service we provide in the area.

The members also had the opportunity to inspect one of our Mountain Rescue Land Rover Ambulances and the equipment carried aboard.

At the end of the morning, Bob and Steve were presented with a marvellous donation of £110 raised by the members present.  They wish to pass on their thanks for this contribution towards our work, for their interest in our organisation, and for the hospitality extended to them.
