At 15:59 today the team was contacted by North West Ambulance service to assist with a lady who had fallen whilst out walking in the Rivington area.

One team member was out walking in the area and was able to identify what resources were required, so just one team LandRover ambulance was dispatched to this incident.

The LandRover was able to access the casualty who was then transferred to the care of her husband and onward travel to hospital to be treated.

We would like to wish the family a speedy recovery.
