Today the team provided standby rescue cover for the Jackals Run 10k and half marathon trail races.
Starting at Ye Olde England Kiosk in Sunnyhurst Woods, the races attracted 63 runners on the 10k race with the half marathon course starting with 48 runners, although only 38 runners completed the half marathon route.
Both courses followed the same challenging route taking in Darwen Moor, Roddlesworth Woods and Jubilee Tower.
10 team members supported the runners in 4 of our team vehicles. Thankfully apart from one minor scrape, our services were not required.
