In July 2007, one of the Institute of Advanced Motorists’ members suffered an accident whilst out walking in Horwich – see Incident 109/2007.

On a regular basis ever since, the Bolton & District Advanced Motorists have been making donations in gratitude to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team for the assistance given at that time.

We have received a cheque for £35.00 and thank the Group’s members for their thoughtful support in this way.
