This evening 25 team members in our four Mountain Rescue LandRovers and Control Vehicle traveled to Leverhulme Park to provide Standby Rescue Cover for the Mid-Week Mountain Bike Madness event.

The event has different categories of riders, who take a challenging track around Leverhulme Park. Once the leader has completed 7 laps, the race is finished.

There was one minor call on our services to treat an injured rider during this evenings event. This is not recorded in our statistics but is included here for interest.
