We have now reached half way through our financial year and are pleased to report that the income from our community collection boxes from January to June 2017 amounts to an encouraging figure of £2,458.62. At the same point of the year in 2016 the total was £1,749.35, so, despite difficult times of austerity, our kind supporters are remaining loyal to us and continuing to drop their spare change (and sometimes banknotes) into our boxes sited throughout our operational area, which stretches from Darwen in the north, to Wigan in the west, North Manchester in the east, and Manchester airport to the south.
We currently have 104 sites registered and are keen to find more places to host our charity boxes, thus increasing our regular income from this source, so please contact our Team Secretary – secretary@boltonmrt.org.uk – if you can assist with this.
We wish to express our sincere thanks to the many sites where our collection boxes are positioned and to their wonderful customers who continue to put money in them.
